our Philosophy

We set out to create a destination, not just another place to rest your head after a long day.  Meaning, we wanted to provide our guests with memorable experiences that evoked a sense of true discovery and relaxation.  We wanted to create a place you would not want to leave.

Perched on the shores overlooking the historical town of Trinity, we've set out to build true to form Newfoundland salt box homes from the ground up, with the philosophy of, "if you built it, they will come."

It only seemed fitting to have our next property reflect a similar story as we frequently travel back and forth. Nods to the navy yellow feathered bird can be found through out our cabins, which also compliments the Newfoundland tone and palette.

Our Story

The Warbler Bird makes her way from Ontario to Newfoundland each spring.

After hosting many guests for years at our custom built log cabin in Haliburton Ontario, we decided to make a change, sell, and move to Newfoundland. As soon as we stepped foot onto the shores overlooking the picturesque town of Trinity, we knew we had found the place we would host you. We felt deeply called to create something magical for ourselves and our discerning guests to discover. - Amanda, Bill, Robin and Archie May.

We've created a noteworthy destination

A place you'll want to revist again and again.

We worked with local award winning builder Glen Vokey of Sweet Lumber, who followed the design of renowned artichtect Frank LaPointe.  The result is a seamless blend a contemporary aesthetic with the traditional charm that Trinity is known for. Clad in local pines, and boasting exposed Fraser fir beams, our northern east coast cabins exude warmth and character while providing the comforts of modern day.

From the ground up

Warblers at Trinity is a place to find quietude, adventure, and parts unknown. She serves as a place to escape, inside and out. Spend silent days sitting next to the the roaring fire, watching the fog roll in, soaking in the freestanding tub, after exploring the rugged landscape Newfoundland and her culture.
